“ I had been a shy and introvert girl since childhood. I never used to speak to others expect my family members. I used to have less number of friends and used to avoid all social gatherings. Then one day, my father asked me to join the retail course at BRITTI PROSIKSHAN KENDRA under UTKARSH BANGLA Flagship Scheme of PBSSD. I was worried at first that how will I be able to cope up with my discomfort. My father insisted so that I meet the counselors and I did so. They motivated me and explained the importance of being independent. I went for the first class and the way the class was conducted was very interesting. Regular grooming sessions actually helped me to overcome my shyness. The trainers conducted many field trips which made me come out of my shell. I have studied till H.S. and I want to study more while working. I am thankful to UTKARSH BANGLA Flagship Scheme of PBSSD for helping me to find out my true self. “ I have studied till H.S. and couldn’t continue it as my father couldn’t afford more. My father is a worker at a mill and my mother is a housewife. Being the only child of my parents, I was worried about their wellbeing. My father doesn’t earn much so I wanted to do something for the livelihood. One day I got a pamphlet of UTKARSH BANGLA Flagship Scheme of PBSSD and decided to visit their Training Providers centre. The counselors told me everything about the BPO course in details and I was very much interested to take up the course. The classes were very interesting and kept me hooked on to till the end.
